Newly-released document supports revisionist position

A newly-released document from J.A. Topf & Söhne supports the revisionist position that the morgues in the Birkenau crematories were not Nazi gas chambers. The existence of the document, dated February 1943, has long been known, but only now is it being made available to researchers. The full details can be found on the CODOH site.

Letters to the Webmaster: 'holacost details'

Dear Sir

My wifes great uncle was one of the soldiers that liberated bergen belsen and his photographs of the many thousands of dead bodies have been on show as part of the official photographs of the attrocities committed there

I am pleased to tell you that he always admitted that after finding the bodies and getting over the shock they collected together all the SS and local nazi soldiers and had some fun with them

For the SS they used to shoot them in the gut and lay bets on how long they could scream. If they went quite they would cover some or all of them in petrol a set them a light. They then had further fun seeing how far these human torches could run. sometimes they would set fire t o a number of men if they wanted to get a good display going.

For the nazi soldiers they had them did a large hole and climb in after which they covered them using a buldozer. It took several hours for the mound to stop crying. During this time they sat round eating and laughing

My wifes uncle only regret was that the army would not send over more prisoners for him to dispose of

I hope this helps you relise that your publication is utter rubbish and am pleased to say why not to many from belson were ever tried for criimes they committed

Irving released from prison

Vienna's highest court has ruled that controversial British author David Irving can be released from jail. The court granted the historian's appeal against his three-year sentence and ruled that he could serve out the remainder of his term on probation. The court rejected calls by the prosecution that his sentence be increased. Instead it reduced his sentence from three to two years, with one of those years to be served on probation. As he has been in jail since his arrest in November 2005, the ruling means he can be released from prison immediately.

International Holocaust study group formed

TEHRAN — In the wake of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for an independent investigation of the so-called Holocaust, an interim committee has been formed to study Jewish allegations.

General secretary of the new group, the International Holocaust Research Committee, is Dr. Mohammad Ali Ramin. Named to serve with him are a number of academics and historical revisionists, including Dr. Christian Lindtner of Denmark, Lady Michele Renouf of the United Kingdom, Bernhard Schaub of Switzerland, Dr. Serge Thion of France, and Dr. Fredrick Töben of the Adelaide Institute in Australia.

The committee has been assigned a threefold purpose:
  1. to constitute an objective, impartial truth-seeking body to investigate Holocaust extermination claims;
  2. to establish an international justice commission for determining penalties to be imposed upon those found guilty of perpetrating the "Holocaust" accusation, should it be proved to be false, to determine those reparations to be paid to any unjustly accused, as well as to determine the form of punishment for those found guilty of false accusation; and
  3. to prepare the next international Holocaust review conference.

Germar Rudolf to face charges

German revisionist Germar Rudolf will appear Tuesday in the state court in Mannheim, accused of 'denying the Holocaust' since 1997 via documents and on the Internet. 'Denying the Holocaust' is a crime in Germany, where it carries a maximum sentence of five years. U.S. authorities arrested Rudolf in 2005 when he appeared at an immigration office in Chicago to apply for a green card based on his marriage to a U.S. citizen.

Bruno Gollnisch on trial for 'Holocaust denial'

The deputy leader of France’s National Front (FN) party, Bruno Gollnisch, went on trial Tuesday for "disputing crimes against humanity" over comments he made two years ago on the Holocaust. Gollnisch, 56, who is a member of the European parliament, faces a possible year in jail if he is found guilty after two days of hearings. In October 2004 Gollnisch said at a press conference that he did not "question the deportations (nor) the hundreds of thousands, the millions of dead ... As for the way they died, there has to be debate." He went on: "I do not deny the existence of deadly gas chambers. But I am not a specialist on this, and I think we should leave historians to discuss it. And this discussion should be free."

One Third of the Holocaust

The site containing the video, "One Third of the Holocaust," has moved to a new URL, and made each segment available on YouTube (search for "holocaust denial movie"). As a short-cut, we've made the YouTube versions available here. The quality is better on the main site, but the YouTube versions are still very effective.

Translation help wanted

The Holocaust Historiography Project is looking for someone to help translate our Holocaust-related videos and web pages into Farsi in time for the December conference in Persia.

We are a small non-profit educational organization based in California. Our e-mail contact address is webmaster@historiography-project.com.

We have funds available to pay for help.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for a much-needed conference on the Myth of the Holocaust. Belief in the Holocaust Myth is the new religion in the Western countries, and President Ahmadinejad correctly comments that further research and study on the matter are needed. Amazingly, within days of the President's call for a conference, the Majdanek Museum in Poland dropped the number of killed from 360,000 people killed to 78,000 people.

Revisionists suffer oppression in several western countries. Professors have lost their jobs, people have been attacked and beaten, scholars jailed. At this moment several honest scholars are in prison facing years of incarceration for expressing doubt about the Ugly Myth: Ernst Zundel and Germar Rudolph in Germany, the writer David Irving in Austria. It is amazing that honest historic research and discussion has been criminalized by self-proclaimed defenders of liberty. Unfortunately, many of these same "Defenders of Freedom" attack the integrity of the government of President Ahmadinejad and threaten the Iranian people. (See www.ihr.org.)

The Holocaust Historiography Project is resolutely against the use of military force to resolve International disputes and is against the censorship and criminalization of historic research and study. It is said that the first casualty of war is the truth. We feel that the hate propaganda and the false exaggerations of the Holocaust Myth are leading to conflict with Iran.

We feel that there is a great need to provide accurate information to the Persian people and to encourage discussion. Please let us know if your offices can provide translations of webpages and provide Farsi subtiles on videos. Please also know the approximate costs. Thank you.

Faurisson on the Holocaust

With Dr. Robert Faurisson currently on trial for thought crimes in France, it seemed appropriate to post a "bootleg" version of the long-awaited English version of his book, the working title for which is/was Faurisson on the Holocaust. This version is pretty rough, as the "translation" from one digital format to another did not go smoothly. However, the bulk of the material is here, and with any luck as time goes on this bootleg version will become as polished as Dr. Faurisson would want it to be. In the meantime, let us know if you spot any egregious errors.

One Third of the Holocaust

If you haven't yet seen the new audio-video site, One Third of the Holocaust, you have to check it out. OTOTH deals with extermination claims at Treblinka, Sobibor, and Belzec. There are four hours of video here (!), but the information is presented in 30 segments, so you don't have to watch the entire thing at one time. If you're a fan of any of the spate of cop/legal/CSI shows on TV these days, you'll especially love Episode 22.

Update on Georges Theil

by Robert Faurisson

In France, repression of revisionism is increasing.

On March 3, 2006 Georges Theil, 65, a retired telecommunications engineer, had his conviction for "Holocaust denial" upheld by the court of appeal of Limoges. He was guilty of sending, in a period running from April to June 2004, a booklet of his own revisionist writings to just a small number of persons in that region, and sentenced to six months' imprisonment without remission and a fine of €30,000, ordered to pay €9,300 in damages, and hit with still other sanctions as well.

Yesterday, May 17, in Lyon the same Georges Theil was convicted on appeal for having made a brief revisionist statement on October 14, 2004 in front of a local television journalist's camera, and sentenced to a new six-month prison term without remission, fined another €10,000, and ordered to pay €40,500 in damages as well as to cover the costs of having the judgment published in two newspapers (probably as much as €8,000).

The offender has lodged a petition concerning the first case with the superior court of appeal in Paris, and is going to do the same for the second. If he fails there, he will, in principle, have to go to prison. In the first case, he has already paid out €39,300, and even a bit more. In the second case, he is going to have to pay out €50,500, not counting the legal publication fees. Some organisations have reacted with lightning speed: this very morning, by faxes sent to Georges Theil's solicitor, they were demanding their pound of flesh.

In addition to these financial penalties it is appropriate to note, for the six proceedings involved (trials, first appeals, final appeals), the lawyer's fees and other costs amounting to substantial sums.

As for the French media, they either pass these convictions over in silence or say they are glad of them.

On January 15 of this year, Georges Theil had sent out a plea for support to the 45 French intellectuals who were ostentatiously demanding, in the name of freedom of historical research and freedom of expression, repeal of the laws hindering those freedoms. Only two intellectuals answered him: one, Edgar Morin, who is Jewish, told him he could not help in any way because he had himself been found guilty of "racial defamation" (he had, to the mind of the Paris court of appeal, too strongly criticised Israeli policy!); the other, professor René Rémond, a Catholic and a shabbos goy, wrote back curtly expressing his refusal to come to Theil's aid.

New trial for Faurisson

French revisionist Robert Faurisson's most recent trial is scheduled for Tuesday, July 11, in the XVIIth chamber of the Paris criminal court (2, 4 Boulevard du Palais; nearest underground station: "Cité") at 1.30 p.m. Faurisson is accused of having granted, last year, an interview of revisionist nature to the Iranian radio and television station Sahar, in the context of a telephone conversation with a Teheran journalist who had called him. Because the satellite channel Sahar's broadcasts can be picked up in France, France's Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA), headed by Dominique Baudis, filed charges against him with the public prosecutor's office in Paris.

The Holocaust in Alabama

Holocaust revisionism has surfaced in the race for Attorney General in Alabama, of all places. Whether or not democratic candidate Larry Darby is correct in his views, one has to wonder what in the world any of this has to do with politics in America in 2006. Why does anyone even care?

New server

Thanks to a generous supporter, we now have our own server, which is housed in a secure facility that features climate control, power conditioning, back-up power, and multiple connections to the Internet. We've split the site into two parts: The more active items are on the new server, while the archives are on the "old" new server. We're still working out the bugs and getting everything set up, but we should get settled into our new electronic home in the next few days.

The truth hurts

A planned conference by the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) imploded Wednesday after the group distributed to attendees an "anti-Semitic" article entitled, "The Jewish Declaration of War on Nazi Germany.” Wouldn't you think that a group of university professors would be able to answer any claims made, if the claims were false? Maybe the real problem is that Judea did declare war on Germany shortly after Adolf Hitler came to power.

Prof. Art Butz, master of the universe

An attack on Art Butz in the February 13 Daily Northwestern, implies that Dr. Butz can unleash violent forces by disagreeing with the traditional version of the Holocaust extermination myth. Of course, the members of the religious faculty at Northwestern who signed this ad, fail (as always) to identify even one area in which Dr. Butz is incorrect, although they did manage to find space to say that Butz makes false claims, promotes fraud, and allies himself with the forces of hate. (Our guess is that "forces of hate" is not a reference to Al Franken, Barbara Streisand, and Rosie O'Donnell.)

Send us your Holocaust cartoons

Tehran's Hamshahri newspaper has launched a competition to find the 12 "best" cartoons about the Holocaust. We're not that picky: Send us your Holocaust cartoons and we'll publish each of them ... no limit. It would be especially nice to get copies of the old Konk cartoons that deal with the Holocaust issue. Be certain to send attribution with each cartoon you send.

Holocaust denial at the Auschwitz Museum

The Auschwitz Museum has published a report reducing the death toll at Majdanek to 78,000 or so. Interestingly, they are "revising" the death toll from what they claim was the "established" total of 400,000 or fewer, and not from the death toll of 1.5 million that was common knowledge for many years. No mention yet on whether or not this reduces the six-million figure (we guess it won't), nor whether there are any plans now to recall the thousands of books taking the U.S. to task for not believing stories in the New York Times about the 1.5 million deaths at Majdanek.

We're not holding our breath.

Iran: Holocaust Conference Soon In Tehran

Tehran, 5 Jan. (AKI) - Iran has decided to rewrite and revise the history of the Holocaust. Following the repeated declarations by the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and other senior government officials on the need to re-examine the history of the genocide of the Jews during the Second World War, the association of Islamic Journalists of Iran has been tasked with quickly putting together an international conference on the Holocaust.

"President Ahmadinejad has placed at the centre of international attention, a very important question on the truthfulness of the version that Europe and the Zionists have imposed on the world on the murder of Jews during the years of the great war, and therefore we are of the opinion that it is useful and necessary to organise an international conference on that theme, where all the historians and researchers, even those that do not believe in the official version, will be able to express themselves freely," Mehdi Afzali, spokesperson of the Association of Islamic Journalists told Adnkronos International (AKI).

"We want to offer a free and democratic platform to the historians to examine in-depth this myth, seeing that in different European countries there exist laws against democracy and freedom that to do not allow intellectuals who believe in a version distinct from that which is officially pronounced on the Holocaust," added Afzali.

"We will invite those who believe in the imposed version as well as all those who have spent years of their lives in the study of documents related to the Holocaust and have come to the conclusion that the history books in schools and universities do not correspond to the truth," said Afzali, who however refused to supply the names of the revisionist historians who have been contacted to appear in the conference in Tehran. Revisionists are those who deny that the Holocaust ever happened.

In Iran, books by the English historian, David Irving, currently in custody in an Austrian jail after having been accused of denying the Holocaust, are very popular.

Among the names of possible guests at the conference are the Israeli journalist lsrael Shamir, a convert to Christianity, and Horst Mahler from Germany, a former member of the the terrorist group, the Red Army Faction. Other revisionist scholars, such as the French Robert Faurisson and the American Arthur Butz, are also some of the other possible participants of the conference in Tehran.
